15% off all Short Sleeve Jerseys

4 04 2011

Yes it’s Monday – the most depressing day of the week. You are at the furthest point of the weekend from here on. However, you have got that dreaded first day out of the way and the weather is looking dare I say it, pleasant. With that in mind I gave my bike a clean yesterday as I’m quite looking forward to taking it for a ride on the country roads. If like me, you have taken up cycling to help combat the persistant knee injuries and because it’s now cheaper to coat your house in platinum than it is to drive a car, you might be interesting in todays promotion from my good friends at Evans Cycles:

You can get 15% off the jerseys below or any other jersey at Evans Cycles when you enter the code MAJERS – why not check out their full range here. The offer lasts until the 10th Apr 2011.

If you have painful memories of your mum and dad taking you out for 15 mile Sunday bike rides along busy A-roads because it would be “nice”, don’t be put off! As I already mentioned, apart from the initial outlay and the odd service, it’s so much cheaper than driving, it’s low impact and a great form of cardio. There are lots of regular cycling jerseys on offer at the site but here are some from the most famous cycling event of them all, the Tour De France:

Team Sky – Britain’s own professional cycling team. Shirt is made by Adidas using high quality 100% Polyester fabric. Designed for comfort, breathability and low drag. Features include full length hidden zip, rear pocket cuts and unique Sky jacquard elastic to minimise material bunching and drag.

BMC Racing Team is a UCI ProTeam  sponsored by BMC Racing, a Swiss-based bicycle frame manufacturer. The team is co-owned by American cycling legend Jim Ochowicz, who founded the legendary 7-Eleven Cycling Team. The 12 panel jersey is designed for ultimate aerodynamics, whilst the lightweight, moisture wicking material ensures that you are kept at the optimum temperature

HTC Highroad – Founded in 1991, the current title sponsor is HTC Corporation. High Road Sports is the management company of team manager Bob Stapleton. Past title sponsors include Columbia Sportswear and Deutsche Telekom. Short sleeve, classic three rear pocket design, short length zip ventilation and high wicking fabric to aid comfort during those long rides.

Astana Sponsored by the Astana group, a coalition of state-owned companies from Kazakhstan and named after its capital city Astana. Past and present members include a lineup including Grand Tour winners Alberto Contador and Lance Armstrong, as well as runners-up Levi Leipheimer and Andreas Klöden. Elasticated waist band / Brilliant vibrant colours and sublimated printing are retained, wash after wash.
